I guess this must be one of the hotties in CommunicAsia 2010. There has be a lot of talk on Huawei Tablet. In February, people caught a glimpse of the device. Finally, at CommunicaAsia 2010, I was able to spend a few minutes with it.
Huawei is very strict for people to take pictures or video. Luckily, I have the Press Pass and I was able to spend some time capturing it.
The tablet has a model S7. And it should have a 7-inch screen. It is running on Android 2.1. It has a customized UI.
The tablet has a big kickstand at the back.
And as you can see, it is a finger print magnet for that stainless steel cover at the back.
I regret not taking some video on it. The touch is quite OK. It is not hyper sensitive and if I am to compare with iPad, iPad wins. While traversing through the main menu, I do see some lag. I did not check the ROM/RAM settings. Anyway, it might not be the final built.
I think the closest competitor might be Dell Streak. Overall, it felt heavy but the built quality is actually not bad.
