OLPC (One Laptop Per Children) has been on-going for quite some time. Its first version is a bulky device. However, recently, another version, OLPC XO-3 was revealed and it looks awesome. Of course, it is not a real product but a concept device by designer, Yves Behar, that should be made available in 2012.
According to source, this device is based on technology that might be available in 2012 and it will be kept at a USD200 price. That is something to look forward to. The device should be 8-inches by 11-inches, has a camera at the back and a distinctive folding ring.
BTW, if you think that 2012 is a little bit far, there are two other models that will be available. They are OLPC OX-1.5 (upgrade of current one) and OLPC XO-1.75 (Dual screen).
