This came as a surprise. Many were looking at dates after June or beyond. However, on the Windows Mobile Team Blog, it stated clearly that Windows Mobile 6.5 will be launched officially on 11th May 2009, at 1:oopm to 2:15pm.

Ya.. but compare to iPhone OS, it is only skin deep.. in my opinion. Anyway, good that Microsoft is thinking in that direction.

Windows Mobile 6.5 is only days away… I develop win mbl apps and I love it. I have a lot of experience developing on other platforms and I can tell you visual studio is the easiest, most reliable IDE and environment out there. Can’t wait for 6.5 and then version 7.
