Waymo will be operational in Singapore from 2028. Mapping and validation activities will be scheduled from 2027. The Initial fleet of all-electric Jaguar I-PACE vehicles is expected to arrive soon.
If you have been in certain cities in US, you will be familiar with Waymo. BTW, Waymo is an independent subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., Google’s parent company. I expect quality service from Waymo. From its website, Waymo Driver uses cameras, radar, and lidar, and compute power to maintain a 360-degree view around the vehicle, up to 300 meters away, while looking to detect and navigate safely around other road users.
