Alibaba has launched the international edition of QwenWork, its all‑in‑one workplace AI agent platform, expanding beyond China, targeting markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America

Now available in public beta on both web and desktop, the platform supports multiple languages and introduces a subscription‑plus‑credits model for individuals and enterprises. Users can choose between Standard and Advanced tiers, including access to the newly released Qwen3.8 Flash model, which significantly reduces token usage and doubles generation speed.
QwenWork International unifies the capabilities of Alibaba’s existing agent platforms—QoderWork, MuleRun, and Wukong—into a single productivity ecosystem. Users simply describe tasks in natural language, and the agent can autonomously navigate websites, operate local computers, and execute multi‑step workflows. A standout feature is Awareness, an opt‑in personalization system that remembers user preferences across sessions, enabling more seamless collaboration. The platform also supports saving successful workflows as reusable skills that evolve with each user’s working style.
Key capabilities include:
- AI-powered task execution: Users can instruct QwenWork in natural language to conduct research, analyse information, prepare documents and complete multi-step workflows.
- Personalised, continuous workflows: On the desktop client, QwenWork’s opt-in Awareness feature allows users to define their preferred collaboration style and working conventions, while carrying relevant preferences and prior context across sessions. This reduces the need to re-brief the agent each time, while successful workflows can be saved as reusable Skills that evolve alongside how users work. Awareness can be switched off at any time.
- Web application development: Users can build and deploy functional web applications through natural-language instructions, without requiring coding or server deployment.
- Multimodal content generation: Built-in capabilities support creating and processing text, images, video, and audio within the same workspace.
- Workplace integrations and automation: Connectors allow QwenWork to work with authorised external services and data sources, while scheduled tasks enable users to automate recurring workflows.
The platform currently supports English and Simplified Chinese interfaces, with Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and additional languages to be rolled out later.
