M1 Maxx has upgraded its flagship $12/month SIM-only plan from 500GB to 600GB. It becomes the first SIM-only plan in Singapore to include China within its local data allocation.
The 600GB local data allocation is now usable across eight markets – Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, India, and Bangladesh, with no separate roaming plan required. Voice roaming in China is also included under the plan, meaning calls can be made in China via VoLTE with no International Direct Dialing (IDD) charges. This is made possible through partnerships with China Mobile and China Telecom, the country’s two largest network operators.
With many locals visiting China, this plan is really a good deal.
