Review: UGREEN 100W GaN Charger with 4 Ports

If you are looking for an affordable 100W GaN Charger, check out the UGREEN GaN charger with 4 ports. I got the review unit from UGREEN. At that time, it comes with an EU port (2-pin type). Now, new stock has arrived with the UK 3-pin type that is a perfect match for the Singapore socket.

I have done a video review on it. You can take a look below.

For your information, current laptops usually come with USB-C charging ports. For most laptop brands and models, the UGREEN 100W GaN Charger is suitable as long it supports USB-C PD (Power Delivery).

So, instead of carrying the usual laptop adapter, you will only need to carry this small charger that has 3 other ports to charge your devices.

Do take note that the UGREEN 100W GaN unit does not come with any USB-C cable. You will need to purchase one. Currently, I saw that they have the option to purchase the UK version of the GaN charger with a 2m USB-C cable. I think this is a good deal (as of posting, it is retailed at S$62.39 – 100W GaN Charger (UK) + 2m 100w USB-C to USB-C cable).

Here is how the 4 ports are being configured – 3 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port.

As I have demonstrated the GaN charger in my video, do check it out. If you are looking for the EU type, based on my understanding from UGREEN, it is already sold out.

Summary

After using it for a while, I love the conveniences of having one small adapter for the laptop. However, do take note that while USB-C is getting more common, most of our products still use USB-A. The UGREEN GaN charger comes with 3 USB-C ports. If you need more USB-A ports, you might need to purchase the USB-C to USB-A adapter. Or you will have to invest in USB-C to USB-C cable for it.

Overall, I love the pricing, the size, the quality, and the ease of use of the UGREEN 100W GaN Fast Charger. Do let me know if you have more questions.
