Dyson V15 Detect Uses Laser to Reveal Microscopic Dust

Dyson recently launched the Dyson V15 Detect in the US. It uses laser to reveal dust on the floor and also measures them after sucking them in. And it introduces a better design to prevent hair entanglement on the roller.

Check out how this Dyson V15 Detect works with James Dyson. It is fascinating to see how much technology is used on Dyson’s vacuum cleaner just to clean a floor.

Since a few years ago, Dyson decided to ditch away from the conventional vacuum cleaner design and just focus on cordless handheld type, the battery life has been improving. The Dyson V15 Detect has a battery life of up to 60 minutes.

And as with every Dyson product being invented, they use a lot of engineering time to perfect it. Here is an excerpt from the official Press Release.

Developed by a team of 370 engineers globally, these latest vacuums use a Dyson Hyperdymium motor which generates up to 230 air watts of suction[1] and 5-stage filtration captures 99.99% of dust particles down to 0.3 microns[2] for a powerful deep clean.

The pricing is defiinitely is not cheap. Based on the US pricing, it is retailed at USD699.99. There is no local (Singapore) information on the Dyson V15 Detect yet. If you are interested, do check out the details here.
