These Might Be Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

If you are thinking that the new Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9+ have flexible screen, you might be disappointed. According to VB, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are more of components upgrade than a design change.

What you might be able to see from the above leaked picture is a slightly bezel-less Galaxy phone. Here are some speculated specs or features of the S9 and S9+.

  • 5.8-inch S9
  • 6.2-inch S9+
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 in the U.S. and China, and Samsung Exynos 9810 systems-on-chip in the rest of the world
  • S9+: 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage
  • S9: 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage
  • Feature: “super slow-mo” video capture (rapid movement triggers 480fps recording at 720p)
  • Variable aperture on their primary 12-megapixel cameras on both devices – a mechanical adjustment that switches between f/2.4 and f/1.5.
  • S9+ adds a second 12-megapixel rear module with standard fixed aperture.
  • Expect the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ to begin shipping, and selling through retail, on 16th March

As with any leaked information, they might not be accurate. So take them with a pinch of salt. We shall wait for the official announcement at Samsung Unpacked 2018 on 25th February (which is during the MWC (Mobile World Congress) period).
