Epson Launches the World’s First Dual-Laser 3LCD Reflective Home Theatre Projector in Singapore
Singapore, 19 June 2015 – Epson, the world’s top projector maker for 14 years in a row[1] showcased the Epson EH-LS10000 home theatre projector – the World’s first dual-laser 3LCD-Reflective Home Theatre Projector today. Targeted at audiophiles and home theatre enthusiasts, Singapore is the first South-east Asian market to launch the EH-LS10000.
Guests at the launch were treated to a projection demonstration that showcased the winning attributes of the EH-LS10000. At a showroom that simulates a typical home theatre environment, guests could experience first-hand the ultimate cinematic experience, through the screening of popular blockbuster movies.
The projection demonstration included:
- Colour projection showcase: Guests were able to experience for themselves the amazing colour brightness of the EH-LS10000’s 3LCD Reflective Technology. The result is vibrant, clear colour quality with realistic images and incredible details.
- 3D content projection showcase: Two movies were screened in 3D to demonstrate the EH-LS10000’s unique 2D-to-3D conversion feature that allows users to enjoy the latest blockbuster or action film within the comforts of their own homes. This feature allows users to transform any movie in standard HD format to spectacular 3D content, with just the touch of a button.
- Absolute Black comparison shoot out: The highlight of the projection shoot out – the Absolute Black comparison features the EH-LS10000 and an unnamed projector model from a competitor brand. Both projectors were used to showcase the black contrast levels during Absolute Black scenes in the movie
Guests could witness for themselves the superior colour and remarkably high contrast levels showcased by the EH-LS10000 during the movie’s Absolute Black scenes, with zero lumens in full black. The result is an incredible, unprecedented black level for smoother, film-like images.
Prior to the projection demonstration, executive from Epson shared on the key technological attributes and benefits of the EH-LS10000 including its dual-laser 3LCD-Reflective optical engine technology and 4K Enhancement technology.
