Available in two sizes 10.1-inch and 12.5-inch, the Transformer Book Chi series offers unrivalled convenience of a powerful ultraportable that transforms seamlessly into a handy tablet whenever needed. They are fast but silent, featuring a fanless design powered by the latest Intel® Core™ M-5Y71 processor, for amazing mobile performance that provides users with the freedom to work and play effortlessly on-the-go, anytime, anywhere. Recipient of the 2015 CES Innovation Award, the Transformer Book Chi series comprises of two models, Transformer Book Chi T300 Chi and Transformer Book T100 Chi. First available in Singapore is the flagship model, 12.5-inch Transformer Book T300 Chi, which will be retailing at $1,498 from 6th March onwards. Featuring some of the world’s slimmest tablets, together with a gorgeous precision-crafted all-aluminium design, the Transformer Book Chi series offers unprecedented sophistication and elegance in a 2-in-1 convertible. Measuring just 1.65cm when docked, the Transformer Book T300 Chi is even thinner than the Apple® Macbook Air®, which comes with a 1.7mm thickness. The Transformer Book T100 Chi is the world’s thinnest 10.1-inch tablet, measuring at just 7.2mm.
Apart from being incredibly slim, the Transformer Book Chi has a luxurious and sophisticated feel. Combining prefect craftsmanship and engineering expertise, the Transformer Book Chi is designed with a seamless all-aluminium unibody design. The edges are enhanced with diamond-cut chamfering, adding brilliant highlights to the elegant metallic body.
The Transformer Book Chi’s instant and seamless transformation between handy tablet and powerful laptop is made possible by the unique magnetic hinge mechanism. It uses a powerful magnetic material known as neodymium to ensure secure, reliable and fuss-free docking. The comfortable, highly-ergonomic keyboard is connected via Bluetooth, with a working range of up to 20m.
Quiet and Effortless Design for Incredible Performance
The incredibly power-efficient Intel® Core™ M processor allows Transformer Book Chi provides up to 8 hours battery life [1] for users to enjoy an incredible all-day mobile usage anywhere. The Intel processors, combined with an advanced thermal management design from the ASUS engineering team, means that the Transformer Book Chi series devices do not need fans to keep cool. The clever fanless design enables the Chi to operate silently, while still delivering better performance than other Intel® Core™ M-powered devices.
In addition, an ultra-fast and responsive all-solid-state storage is used in all Chi models, boosting up to nine times faster performance than traditional hard disks. The Transformer Book Chi also features a fast USB 3.0 connectivity for data transfers that are up to ten times faster than USB 2.0.

The Transformer Book Chi series uses in-plane switching (IPS) displays enhanced with ASUS TruVivid technology, giving wide viewing angles with amazing clarity and brightness. With a 2560 x 1440 WQHD resolution and a class-leading pixel density of 235ppi, the Transformer Book T300 Chi provides incredibly crisp and detailed visuals.
Furthermore, the Transformer Book Chi’s display encompasses a sRGB colour gamut which is 20% wider than the gamut of standard displays, which provides richer, more vivid and accurate colour reproduction. The colours are enhanced further with the ASUS Splendid technology which optimises display settings for the best colour combination for each scenario.
