As the year is coming to an end, information of the next gen HTC smartphone is making its round. The model HTC One (M9) (codename: Hima), purportedly to be the next flagship phone, has been appearing in many Tech websites these few days. However, this is the first time the front panel of the device (maybe) has been reported. And contradicting to other reports, the screen size is different.
This information from NWE is yet to be verified. With just a front panel, it involves a lot of assumptions. It could mean any HTC phone, not just the HTC One (M9) that many sites are reporting. Based on the report, the screen size is 5.2-inch (most leaked sources are indicating a 5.5-inch). There is no way to verify leaked information (I guess you already know). Hopefully, we can hear the official news or see the real hardware early next year (MWC?).
So far, these are the information from other leaked sources regarding the HTC One (M9)(aka Hima).
HTC Hima:S810 2.0GHz*4+1.5GHz*4, 3GB RAM, 5″ FHD, VoLTE/CA/LTE Cat.6, 20.7MP(front 13MP or UltraPixel 4MP), 2840mAh, Android 5.0/Sense 7.0:)

If you can read Chinese, here is the excerpt of the post
I translate the information in point form.
- 5.5-inch screen, 2k screen resolution
- Snapdragon 805 processor
- 3GB RAM
- 64GB, 128GB of Internal Storage
- Android 5.0 (Lollipop)
- 16 MPX camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer)
- 3,500 mAh battery
For the last point, it mentions 3 types of prevention capabilities (direct translation). It should means water, dust and vibration resistant. And on the website, it mentions there might be a variant of the HTC One (M9) which might be called M9 Prime. Again, all leaked information MUST be taken with a pinch of salt.
That is it for now.
