It seems that a price war is about to happen. M1 has lowered its 1Gbps fibre broadband plan to just S$49 per month. This is even lower than MyRepublic’s S$49.99 per month. Despite some telcos staying clear of the price war, I believe consumers are the best gauge if they are buying their explanation or not.
Hopefully, in a matter of time, other telcos might follow. Here are the features of the M1 1 Gpbs plan:-
- FREE Dect Phone worth $58 (Online Exclusive Promotion)
- FREE Mobile Broadband (1GB)
- FREE Home Fixed Voice Service
- FREE ONT Activation (up to $58.85)
- FREE 3 months’ subscription to Internet Security
- FREE Termination Point Installation (up to $235.40) if you missed OpenNet’s free installation
- FREE 12 months’ MiBox subscription (24 months contract)
- FREE 24 months’ Static IP subscription
And I believe that M1 has removed the restriction on the broadband speed which is really good for streaming purpose.
