The Hubless Sada Bike that folds to the size of an umbrella (video)

The biggest problem with most (if not all) full size foldable bike is that it is still bulky after it’s folded. One of the issue is the hub. It makes it difficult to fold. And, guess what, someone actually designed a bike that is hubless. Now, y0u get a super compact foldable bike (wheels not included). It is called the Sada Bike.

Here is how it looks like after it’s folded.

Here is the Sada Bike. Notice that it is hubless and the wheels are spokeless.

The designer, Gianluca Sada, explained:

The wheels have no spokes, the system folds with a single movement, the packaging container can also be used as a backpack… It uses a system anchoring the wheels using smaller wheels held by a small frame and a specific quick clamping device. They allow you to fold the bike quickly and easily, using its special package like a trendy backpack.

Here is a video on the bike.

I am not sure how long it takes to fold the bike and how comfortable it is to ride on one. From the video, it seems ok. BTW, you cannot own one yet. The Sada Bike is looking for investors for the construction and marketing of it. Please contact Gianluca Sada if you are interested to invest.
