When you look at this umbrella design, you will ask yourself “Why didn’t I think about it?” Check out the UnBRELLA (not a spelling mistake). At one glance, it looks like an umbrella flipped over.

In my opinion, it may look effective to withstand wind and the usual rain. However, I think it will take a longer time to dry (since the wet part is facing inside) and the UnBRELLA must be made with good material since they are exposed to the elements.

This self-standing UnBRELLA is ready for pre-order at 9,450 yen. Not so cheap for an umbrella. Delivery should be in February 2014.
