Future Phone Display is Just 1mm thin (Video)

Japan Display (established in April by Sony, Toshiba and Hitachi) has featured 3 innovations in 3 prototype displays, titled “Innovation Vehicles”. It combines the latest technologies from Sony, Toshiba, and Hitachi.

The three prototypes consist of a 5-inch Full HD, 438ppi smartphone display, a 7-inch, 2560×1600 pixel WQXGA 431ppi tablet display and a 12.2-inch, 1,920 x 720 car display. They features key technologies like WhiteMagic for power saving, Pixel Eyes integrated touch panels, and IPS-NEO, featuring a wide viewing angle and high contrast.

Not sure if the 1mm includes battery or not. Does not seem so. Anyway, check out the video.
