Here is a new way from LG to read news feed from Facebook. LG has set up LG 3D Studios to show the best things in life in 3D. One of their project is the 3D Newsfeed Facebook App.
With the app, you can actually view the content in 3D. And if you don’t have a 3D TV, you can still try it in 2D here. You can check out the video too!

BTW, here are some history of 3D and also learned about LG 1st 3D TV. The first patent for 3D image-viewing was issued in 1838. That is more than a hundred years old. It was by Charles Wheatstone who invented the stereoscope to show 3D images.
However, it was not until 1922 that 3D glasses technology was used on a silent full length movie, “The Power of Love”. Sadly, no copies are available today.
In 1953, 39 movies were released in 3D. Moving on, the first video game was SubRoc-3D that was released in 1982 into the arcades with special eyepiece to simulate the depth. The game was shown in the 1983 movie WarGames which was not in 3D.
In May 2011, LG’s first Full LED 3D TV was launched in Europe and the US. The model is LX9500. Based on a blind study, interestingly, 80% of respondents preferred LG 3D TV to other brands.
