If you have been following the news about the seizure of iPads in China, you will know that it is due to the fact that another company (Proview) has been using the name iPad for a while and they are not happy about it. Well, this picture shows you how Proview iPad looks like.
Proview’s iPad looks nothing like the current iPad. It was put in the market since 1998. For Proview, iPad stands for Internet Personal Access Device and in the form of an all-in-one computer that looks like iMac.
The company has run into financial trouble and according to TNW, Proview was suspended from trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in August 2010 after its chairman filed for bankruptcy. If it can get some money out of this, it may save itself, depending on the payout.
