If you have paranoid parents who wants you to report your whereabouts, Hashtagmom may be a solution for you. I know most people are reluctant to give a call to their love ones once they landed at some foreign land. Hashtagmom helps you to do that almost automatically.

The first step is to register the person (your mom or dad usually) so that the phone number is linked to the system. Once it is done, all you have to do is to check-in at any location and then add a message, followed with the hashtag #mom to your check in.

Once done, the person will receive a text message or a voice mail (configurable) with the message that you have input in the check in.
