If you have plants and have problem maintaining them, there is an app for that. Koubachi for iOS has been around for some time. Now, you can do it web-based. In private beta, you will need to request for an account.

This will be great for those who are too busy to monitor the plants. You will need to setup once to get it going. From TNW, it seems that this Switzerland-based startup behind Koubachi is planning an actual WiFi device that will collect data automatically.
