HTC Sensation Party with DJ Seb Fontaine (Video)

I was invited to Multimedia Powerhouse Party (powered by HTC Sensation) on the 8th June 2011. It was also the launch of HTC Sensation in Singapore. If you have notice, I had posted a blog post on how to get to this free party earlier. The party venue is at the old NIE building at Margaret Drive.

Along the road side, there are big HTC balloons. Once you enter the compound, there are valet parking for you too. The party is for all (18 year old and above, by the way). Anyone can enjoy this party.

The star for the night is HTC Sensation smartphone and of course, DJ Seb Fontaine.

Thanks to HTC, we were seated at the VIP area.

There are free flow of drinks and food. And there are billiard table too. Inside the VIP area, you can see a lot of bloggers and celebrities.

I took a short video to let you see how it looks like.

And in the VIP area, there are a few stations with HTC Sensation for us to play.

And as Tech bloggers, we did what we like to do, taking pictures/videos of the handset.

We were actually very interested in the curve edge of the HTC Sensation LCD Screen. It means that if you run your finger at the edge of the screen, you can feel an edge due to the curve. I tried to take a shot to show you this. Hopefully, you can see it.

The next thing that really interest us is HTC Sense 3.0. It feels totally different from the previous version. Here is a short video demo of Active Lock Screen in action.

I think it is really cool with those graphics and display.

Here are some of the party people. Melvin, the country manager of HTC on the left.

One of the favorite activity of the night is the lucky draw for 15 HTC Sensation smartphones. Here is Melvin on stage, drawing the lucky winners.

The crowd was high in anticipation of the draws.

Some of the lucky winners.

Towards the end of the last hour, Nicole Chen took over Seb Fontaine as the DJ. BTW, she is also one of the ambassadors for HTC Academy.

Too bad, we left early. Here is another final shot.

That all for the coverage of HTC Sensation Party. Thanks to HTC for the invite.
