The Longest Solar Eclipse That Can Be Beaten Only in Year 3043

Today, India and some Asia countries witness the longest Solar Eclipse. However, I believe that we could not see anything due to the poor weather condition in Singapore. It is such a disappointment as the next eclipse that can beat this record time will be due in just Year 3043!

From Straits Times, it mentions the duration of the moon in front of the sun.

the time the moon is in front of the sun – was 11 minutes, eight seconds at 0706 GMT, making it ‘the longest annular eclipse of the 3rd Millennium
