Since I posted the Google Wave Preview and some invites that I have to use it, I am overwhelmed by the request. I have only 8 invites. And to make things worse, people are asking via my blog, Twitter and emails. So, I guess many people did not realized that anyone with Google Wave can get invites (I think). I do not think I have special privileges to give invites.
As you can see, the invites are not immediate. Google will need to process it and send out later. So, even if I send it now, you may not get it. Plus the fact that I have only 8 invites.
So, I invites all bloggers who already has Google Wave to spread the news about this Google Wave Invite.
Where to Find Invites
This is a bit tricky. I am new to Wave. Luckily, when I used the wave for the first time, I saw the invite message. However, on second log in, it was gone.
So, I try to find it back. Here is how I did (I don’t know if it will work on yours or not).
- Click “All” on the left panel (under the “inbox”). Find “muted” messages.
- You will see “Invite Others to Google Wave”.
- Click on that, you will have some 08 invites with a email address column.
That is it! All good to go to give out your very own Google Wave invite.
Or alternatively, go to http://www.googlewave.com. You can see the invite there. 🙂 I don’t know which way is faster.
