Google Latitude Finally Arrived at iPhone, Your Privacy is at Risk Now!

Finally, Apple iPhone catches up with the rest of the mobile OS to have Google Latitude. However, it will not be available on the App Store. Instead, it will just be a web-hosted app that runs with Safari.

To use Latitude on iPhone, you will need to access your Safari browser and enter this URL.

http://www.google.com/latitude

I am not sure how it works with a browser. For example, on Windows Mobile, Latitude can have the option to keep track of your location even when the program is not running. If iPhone is using it as a browser app, won’t it be draining the battery of the iPhone?

Anyway, have fun with it because you will lose your privacy once you allow someone to track you.
