After reading this news, I am glad that searching for something on the Internet is a breeze here. In Africa, mobile SMS is very commonly use and Google took advantage of this to make Google SMS. Imagine searching for something and is limited to the 160 Characters limit.
To make the story short, Google has managed to come up with a few numbers for people searching for things.
For example:
- 6001: SMS Tips. Ask questions about health and etc to get answer.
- 6006: SMS Search. Just like search in our Google but limited.
- 6007: SMS Trader. Marketplace to buy and sell.
