HTC announced Touch Pro2, the Winmo device with a slider qwerty keyboard. It is a succession of the previous Touch Pro.
HTC must have been doing their homework. I remembered people complaining that the Touch Pro cannot tilt its screen while the previous model TytnII can actually do so. Now, with the HTC Touch Pro2, this function is back and it is enhanced. For example, it can now tilt at different angle. Also, another enhancement is the keyboard, which has bigger and easier to type keys and also, some common symbols are placed so that it is easily accessible.
HTC might be aiming this phone for the coporate. One of the biggest enhancement is the dual mic and speakers and HTC named it Straight Talk Technology. It has a mute button just below the camera so that we can easily mute the call while the speaker phone is on.
However, I was quite disappointed that this phone is having the old 3.2 MegaPixels as opposed to the 5 Megapixels camera found on Touch Diamond2. Anyway, HTC is listening. 🙂
