This got nothing to do with Technology but something that we can relate or share and learn. A 20-something woman became deaf on one ear after a kiss.
According to the doctor, the passionate kiss actually ruptured the young woman’s left eardrum. More information after the break.
According to the report,
‘The kiss reduced the pressure in the mouth, pulled the eardrum out and caused the breakdown of the ear,’ the treating doctor, surnamed Li, was quoted as saying, adding the woman’s hearing would likely recover in about two months.
Because of this, it is named the Kiss of Deaf. This also prompted the newspapers to shows kissing safety advice.
In one of their report,
‘A strong kiss may cause an imbalance in air pressure between the two inner ears and lead to a broken ear drum,’ said the English-language Shanghai Daily in a story headlined ‘Kiss of deaf’.
