The latest voice sports the Voice Search function which can help you to minimize typing when you are on the move.<\/p>\n
To use the voice function, you will need to press your phone call button. Once pressed, you will be prompt to speak. It is clever enough to analyze when you start and stop speaking and process your request after that.<\/p>\n The settings has included a “voice search language” option.<\/p>\n There are a few languages for you to choose. Unfortunately, there is no Singlish option.<\/p>\n The few languages that you can choose:<\/p>\n I tried the American, British, Australian and Mandarin. Terms like Hougang, Jurong and etc will be difficult. As for Mandarin, it is quite accurate if you speak loud and clear to your microphone.<\/p>\n Here is a result of my Mandarin input to locate Jurong Bird Park.<\/p>\n I am wondering if it is usable outside (with all the surrounding noises). I am sure Google has taken care\/note of this. Anyway, have fun with it for Windows Phone users.
