Steve demoed it by running a few apps (simulated, of course).<\/p>\n
Double click on Home Button will bring up a dock. The dock displays the apps running. The smart thing about this multi-task feature is that it stops the app when you “jump” to the next one. That, I believe, is the main reason that it can maintain battery life.<\/p>\n

(2) Folder<\/span><\/h2>\nIn iPhone OS 4.0, you can group apps in one folder. The OS will automatically name the folder based on the apps usage. Users can also choose to rename it anytime. A simple picture to illustrate this point.<\/p>\n
