It has been a while since I go into Microsoft Marketplace. Today, I got a surprise as it prompted me to download its latest version of Marketplace. Of course, I updated. So, I decided to check the version of this Marketplace and I got another surprise. I was told that there is an updated Facebook App for download.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It was a long awaited update for Facebook app on Windows Phone. On the Marketplace, it states that the new version is V1.2. However, when I checked the app after I installed, it shows V1.1.0.17 instead. However, the changes can be easily detected with this new version.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Here are some changes that I observed.<\/p>\n

Now, you can “like”, comment on a picture.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And when you swipe the photo to the next one, it is more intitutive (my opinion) as compared to previous version. And you can a background to show that it is processing your command. Nice!<\/p>\n

Finally, Microsoft automatically send a status update to your Facebook account to tell the whole world (ok lah, your friends) that you have isn your Facebook app. Clever.<\/p>\n
