I was invited to Google Office for a Chrome OS event. I will blog about this event later. What is interesting hot now is the Nexus One. As you may know, Nexus One was launched just a few days ago<\/a>. It is the first phone that Google is selling on their website and also one of the highest spec Android phones (if not the best one) around. A few of us got the chance to see the Google version of the Nexus One (The difference between this version and the retail version is that it does not have HTC logo and it has a cute Android logo at the back).<\/p>\n

We only have a few minutes with Nexus One and all of us started snapping pictures. Below are a comparison of Nexus One with iPhone and HTC HD2<\/p>\n

As Nexus One and HTC HD2 are from the same manufacturer (HTC), I decided to take a few more shots of the chasis.<\/p>\n

As you can see above, the curve edge of the Nexus One makes the HTC HD2 looks thick. However, it terms of thickness, they are quite similar (according to specs).<\/p>\n

Overall, the Nexus One, with all the curves, is very nice to hold. The AMOLED screen is very bright and with the 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, it is very snappy. No feel of lag. We did not have time to explore Android OS 2.1. However, the initial encounter with Nexus One is definitely a good one. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
