Toshiba announced its latest SSD that has a whopping 512GB. However, don’t expect it to be on the street now. It will only be available next April.<\/p>\n

Toshiba uses its new line of 43nm MLC Drives which also come with other sizes in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB units in both 1.8 inch and 2.5inch form factor.<\/p>\n

However, don’t expect the 512GB SSD to be cheap. We may have to wait until CES 2009 (in January) for more details.
