Apple is bringing Spatial Audio and Lossless Audio to Apple Music. If you are already an Apple Music subscriber, you will automatically be able to listen to songs in Spatial Audio with the right hardware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By default,\u00a0Apple\u00a0Music will automatically play Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos\u00a0tracks on all AirPods and Beats headphones with an H1 or W1 chip, as well as the built-in speakers\u00a0in the latest versions of iPhone, iPad, and Mac.\u00a0Spatial Audio on\u00a0Apple\u00a0Music will also be coming soon to Android devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple\u00a0Music is making its catalog of more than 75 million songs available to subscribers in Lossless Audio.\u00a0Apple\u00a0uses ALAC (Apple\u00a0Lossless Audio Codec) to preserve every single bit of the original audio file.\u00a0This means fans will be able to hear\u00a0their favorite songs exactly the way the artists created them in the studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
