This year, in an unprecedented move, the Singapore 55th<\/sup> National Day celebration has been scaled down due to the COVID-19<\/a> pandemic. However, that does not stop Singapore from celebrating it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of large crowd gathering at one location, this year, they are bringing NDP 2020 to the heartlands. And that means a lot of timing have been changed. For example, in previous year, the parade is usually in the evening followed by performance. This year, the parade will be in the morning and the mobile column will move to the heartland after that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the timing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morning: Parade at Padang<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The parade is now scheduled at 10:20am in the monring, following by the fly past by the airforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around 10:30am, the Public Warning System will sound a 20-second “All-Clear” siren to indicate the start of the Anthem Moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mobile Column<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

And if you war those who love the mobile column, they are will traveling to the heartlands from 10am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Red Lions – Parachute Freefall to Heartlands<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

And if you love the Red Lions, you can catch them up close and personal. They will be landing at two locations – Jurong East and Sengkang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spot them as they freefall down to the heartlands, paying tribute to the frontline fighters and essential workers at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital. Check out this video by Straits Times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
