With four weeks left till the closing of the submissions, this is\nthe last chance for film makers to get their work recognised in HUAWEI Film\nAwards. If you are an aspiring mobile-filmmaker and content creator looking for\nan avenue to showcase your creative talent to the world, now is the time to get\nthose fresh ideas off the ground and breathe life into them with your Huawei\nsmartphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All budding smartphone-filmmakers have until 25 February 2020 (11:59 PM GMT+8) to submit their entries at <a href=\"https:\/\/consumer.huawei.com\/sg\/campaign\/film-awards\/submission\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">consumer.huawei.com\/sg\/campaign\/film-awards\/submission\/<\/a>. Films must be shot entirely on a Huawei mobile phone, following the theme \u201cEmpowering Your Possibilities\u201d, with a running time within five to 10 minutes for long-form videos, and running time of a maximum of 60 seconds for short-form videos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submission entries will be reviewed by an\nesteemed judging panel of five prominent trailblazers in the film and\nbroadcasting scene, namely Crazy Rich Asians screenwriter Adele Lim, Thai postmodern filmmaker,\nscreenwriter and novelist\nPrabda Yoon, and Rajay Singh, Award-winning film director and senior founder partner of\nproduction company Directors Think Tank. Joining them are Alex\nLin, Asia Pacific President of Huawei Consumer Business Group, and Chris Humphrey, Director of\nProduction of\nA+E Networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the HUAWEI Film Awards (HFA), Huawei aims to provide\ncontent creators with an\nopportunity to break into the world of smartphone filmmaking.
