Huawei held its first HUAWEI Developer Day in Singapore recently. And that might mark the start of their aggressive plan to introduce the HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) to the developers and hopefully, more will join the bandwagon to churn out more apps for the Huawei AppGallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, I posted a review of the HUAWEI Mate30 Pro<\/a>. In my review, I spent some time to understand the AppGallery. In my opinion, there are a lot of work to be done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Android has come a long way while Huawei AppGallery and HMS have just started. I really hope that it will work out for Huawei because I really love the hardware design (and battery life) of the phones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, most will know that the ecosystem is the most important part of the mobile phone. Without a good ecosystem, nothing will work out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SINGAPORE, OCTOBER 23,\n2019 <\/strong>\u2013\nHUAWEI Mobile Services (HMS) held its first Developer Day in Singapore today to\nshowcase its wide range of open technical capabilities and intelligence\nservices that support the HMS Ecosystem. Over 110 top mobile app developers in\nSingapore have participated in this event to learn about integrating into HMS\nCore services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HMS is available\nglobally with a variety of services such as the HUAWEI ID, Mobile Cloud,\nAppGallery, Themes, and HUAWEI Assistant. As of September 2019, HMS has\nrecorded more than 570 million users across 170 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe growth of the HMS\necosystem is attributed to the valued participation by mobile app developers in\nthe market. To date, HMS has successfully attracted 1.07 million registered\ndevelopers around the globe. We see the significance of app developers, and are\nlooking forward to forming global collaborations in building a fully-connected\nmobile ecosystem that benefits HUAWEI device users,\u201d said Shan Xuefeng,\nDirector of HUAWEI Mobile Services Asia Pacific. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

HMS has opened\nadditional developer resources to facilitate the growth of its ecosystem, which\nincludes full access to 24 HMS Core services. This will help developers ease\nthe app integration process, and speed up the pace of innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HMS Core Provides a\nFull-Scenario Intelligent Assistance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the event, the\ncompany introduced the HMS Core kits \u2013 a collection of software development\nframeworks that help create a version of the app that is compatible with HUAWEI\ndevices. These kits enable developers to accelerate the app development process\nat a lower cost, yet provides an improved user experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
