However, if you wish to buy it, it may not be possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, Segway is targeting shared scooter companies to adopt this new design. What is special about it is that it can be operated remotely to &#8220;re-balance&#8221; the fleet based on demand\/supply and to bring it back to the dock for recharging via Cloud-based system and AI (Artificial Intelligence).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the specs for the KickScooter T60.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Suspension:<\/strong> inverted three-wheel linkage suspension<\/li><li><strong>Brake:<\/strong> three sets of independent braking systems (electric energy regenerative braking, drum brakes, parking brakes)<\/li><li><strong>Processor: <\/strong>1.8GHz six-core processor<\/li><li><strong>Protection Level:<\/strong> IPx5; IPx7 for key components<\/li><li><strong>Replaceable battery:<\/strong> smart lithium battery that is remote lockable<\/li><li><strong>Maximum load: <\/strong>120kg<\/li><li><strong>Maximum speed: <\/strong>32km\/h, can be adjusted according to the country or region&#8217;s regulations<\/li><li><strong>Battery life: <\/strong>60-70km<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can check out the video at their website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Click Here to Segway Kickscooter T60 Website (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.segwayrobotics.com\/#\/kickscooter-t60\" target=\"_blank\">Click Here to Segway KickScooter T60 Website<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Uber and Lyft might be the first to test it out. It is slated to be commercialized in 2020. Road testing will start next month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Singapore is embracing a society where PMDs\/PEVs can co-exist with commuters and at the same time, able to manage in a way unlike the current bike-sharing situation where you can see these bikes littered around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think Segway should consider partnering with Singapore companies and our Government to try out this new concept. The only &#8220;setback&#8221; about this concept is the cost. At over USD1,400 per e-scooter, the KickScooter T60 is not cheap to be used as a rental e-scooter.
