I have been following closely on this CrunchPad news. One of the reason is because a Singapore company is behind it (Fusion Garage). The story of CrunchPad started with TechCrunch envisioning a tablet device that can surf the net comfortably. Their dream almost came true.. until recently (17th November) that they realize Fusion Garage has a different agenda.<\/p>\n

It is a sad news. I was thinking that this CrunchPad could be a potential device<\/a>. With Chromium (Google OS) already picking up steam<\/a> and Creative Zii Mediabook<\/a> coming up, CrunchPad is already a headstart from competitors.<\/p>\n

CrunchPad is simple, has multi-touch 12-inch screen and sleek. It was supposed to be launched on the 20th November but things change. I do not want to speculate too much as Fusion Garage is still keeping quiet.<\/p>\n

Hopefully someone from Fusion Garage can clarify the matter. Based on TechCrunch story, it seems that money is still a big factor for the outcome today.<\/p>\n

For the rest of us, we will have to wait for the matter to stablize and maybe, CrunchPad will be around with a different name.
