Love it when there are competitions amongst Telcos. Consumers are always the winner. M1 has ditched away all 19 mobile plans and come up with just one plan each for Device with Contract<\/em> and SIM-Only, Contract-free<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like some other Telcos, M1 mobile plan is now a base plan where you can build your plan based on your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, what do you think? In my opinion, SIM only is good (value for money) if you already have a handset and the other plan with device is not bad too if you compare with previous ones (before the change).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nSINGAPORE, 28 May 2019<\/strong> \u2013 As a part of its\nstrategic transformation, M1 today announced a move to refine its mobile\noffering on the basis of changing customer needs and expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a first step towards this,\nM1 has simplified its mobile offering, with one base plan each for SIM-only and\nhandset bundles, replacing its existing 19 plans starting today. The\nsimplification offers customers greater flexibility and personalisation through\na mobile plan that can be made- to-measure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SIM-only contract-free base\nplan starts from S$25, and the handset base plan starts from a S$30 contract,\nboth enjoying unlimited weekend data. Both plans offer the best data value\nbundle in the market today, starting with 30GB and 12GB respectively at the\nbase plan. Customers can then build and personalise their own plans over the\nbase plan by adding on more data, voice minutes, SMS, roaming pack and other\nvalue-added services depending on their expected usage and need. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the new plans, customers\ncan enjoy larger data bundles as compared to the older plans being replaced.\nExisting customers who are currently in contract with M1 can download the My M1<\/em> app or call the customer service\nhotline on 1627 to check if they are eligible to change to the new plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For better customer\nexperience, M1 has introduced a brand new website that incorporates a\nstreamlined interface that is more intuitive for customers to decide on their\nplans and build it on- the-go. After signing up for the new mobile plans online,\ncustomers can also choose to have their SIM card and handset delivered to their\ndoorstep at no additional cost. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
