If you are holding on to one of the Jailbroken iPhone, beware that there are already 2 worms making their rounds. Although the first one is harmless (in my opinion), the second one is actually malicious.<\/p>\n

BTW, the picture has got nothing to do with the worm. It looks cute and I “stole” it from Engadget.<\/p>\n

Back to the phone. It targets users who are using the iPhone for Internet banking with Dutch online bank ING. It will redirects the bank’s customers to a lookalike site with a log-in screen. Once the malicious worm attacked the jailbroken iPhone, the iPhone could be remotely accessed and controlled without the users’ permission.<\/p>\n

Again, one of the high risk group to get this worm are those who had not changed the default password (alpine) of the SSH (secure shell) installed in most jailbreaked iPhones. It could jump phone to phone via Wireless networks.<\/p>\n

Luckily, this worm (at this moment) is contained at Netherlands.<\/p>\n
