It is great to see another option for people who care\u00a0about their health via wearables like smartwatches or trackers. With Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit has joined most major brands in delivering a smartwatch with GPS, heart-rate monitor, audio coaching, long battery life (5 days), cross-platform compatibility, and a payment system.<\/p>\n
What is interesting is that Fitbit also announces two things that are not primarily their line of products.<\/p>\n
It announces a payment system, Fitbit Pay that allows Fitbit Ionic users in Singapore to add Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards from UOB and OCBC banks for cashless payments in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
it also announces a wireless headphones, Fitbit Flyer, that is sweatproof that can be used together with Fitbit Ionic on-device coaching feature (via an app).<\/p>\n
