Price-wise, it is not cheap. At USD1,280, some might argue that it is better to walk or take public transport.<\/p>\n<p>The pre-order starts now (in fact since October 2016) and the delivery is expected to be in September 2017. At the moment, when you pre-order, there is no need for payment. When it is nearer to expected delivery date (I think), they will inform you on how to make the payment.<\/p>\n<p>More about the WalkCar. If this is the first time you are seeing it, you might think that this is a cheap looking tray with wheels. But don&#8217;t let that fool you. Beneath it is a PEV\/PMD that is capable of\u00a0carrying a person that is between 40kg to 80kg. It has a maximum speed of 16km\/hr.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the specs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Body Material: Carbon<\/li>\n<li>Size: Laptop size &#8211; 13 inch<\/li>\n<li>Max Speed: 16km\/h <sup>II<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Weight: 2.8kg<\/li>\n<li>Charging time: 60 mins<\/li>\n<li>Driving time: 60 mins <sup>III<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6 class=\"font_8\">\u2161 \u00a0&#8220;Max speed&#8221; is the speed that can be attained under the conditions prescribed by Cocoa Motors. &#8220;Max speed&#8221; may be slower depending on the operating conditions or environmental conditions.<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"font_8\">\u2162 &#8220;Driving time&#8221; is the time that WalkCar can be operated when fully charged, and is a value that can be attained under predetermined conditions. (Speed: 6 km; Total weight: 60 kg;\u00a0Smooth and dry road surface\u00a0temperature: 15\u00b0C to 25\u00b0C)<\/h6>\n<p>Personally, the specs are not clear. One hour of driving time means how many kilometer? I think the real reason is because it depends on many factors to determine how far this small guy can travel.
