Press Release<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The service will be progressively made available to small businesses so that they can offer a wider range of payment options<\/em><\/p>\n Singapore, 17 January 2017<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Starting mid-January, residents of over 30,000 condo units can look forward to paying their condominium management fees (MCST fees) via AXS Payment Services (\u201cAXS Pay\u201d), a service that is developed specifically for the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (\u201cSMEs\u201d).<\/p>\n With the popularity of online and on-the-go payment options in Singapore, AXS Pay was\u00a0jointly developed with DBS\u00a0with the aim to assist SMEs in transforming their mainly cheque\u00a0\u00a0and cash-based fee collection to digital e-payment collection over the 3 AXS\u2019 \u00a0payment channels \u2013 the AXS Station, the AXS e-Station (Internet), and the AXS m-Station (mobile app).<\/p>\n This service is free to users and transaction fees have been waived for condominiums\u2019 managing agents. Managing agents can sign up with AXS free of charge to enjoy the benefits of this integrated payment service. Participating condominiums can look forward to increasing their productivity and reducing the resources needed (such as manual data entry) to consolidate payments, while offering their residents the added convenience of AXS\u2019 payment channels.<\/p>\n Supporting AXS Pay is part of DBS\u2019 larger plan to drive cashless\u00a0and chequeless\u00a0payment\u00a0behaviour\u00a0in Singapore \u2013 something that the bank is uniquely positioned to do given that it banks most of the nation.
