If you follow the Barnes & Noble lawsuit case, and if I am the company, Spring Design, I would definitely do the same. It seems too much of a coincidence. Of course, I am not here to judge.<\/p>\n

Just a summary of the case. Spring Design showed B&N management their new Alex eReader in February. Of course an NDA (Non disclosure Agreement)<\/a> was signed to ensure that the information is kept secret. After the meeting, there was no contact between Spring Design and B&N until the release of Nook, which looks so much like Alex eReader. Both has dual LCD screen with the bottom screen being a touch screen and both are Android powered. Look at how close it resembles each other.<\/p>\n

At first, I thought that it must be some features that resemble Spring Design’s Alex. However, after looking at both designs, I think it is too close for Spring Design to keep quiet.<\/p>\n

BTW, Spring Design is just a 3 years old company while Barnes & Noble is a huge corporation.<\/p>\n
