Based in Z\u00fcrich, Switzerland, MWC is one of the largest specialist manufacturers and suppliers of robust military specification timepieces for a number for the military, police forces, anti-terrorist units, salvage companies, airlines, mining companies and other government agencies and departments. Manufactured in both Germany and Switzerland using movements and components of utmost quality, MWC timepieces guarantee reliability and durability.<\/p>\n The classic range consists of a range of retro models inspired by historic models in the period up to the 1970’s. The automatic A-11 1940s WWII Pattern Military Watch was among the first military watches to be equipped with a sweep second hand. This recreation is based closely on the original World War Two design from 1943.<\/p>\n The quartz GG-W-113 US 1960s Pattern Military Watch is based on a specification set out in October\u00a01962 when the US Government set down a specification for infantry watches which became known as\u00a0GG-W-113 from March 1956.<\/p>\n The PVD plated G10 Stealth is unique not only because of its battery\u00a0hatch on the caseback but also because MWC is the only contractor\u00a0producing standard European Infantry specification watches in a non-reflective\u00a0PVD plated black finish. The special matt black finish is required\u00a0by many special forces units. The steel is not black all the way through\u00a0because the black finish is created by a special chemical PVD plating\u00a0process which is vastly superior to the painted finish used on some\u00a0watches which can quickly fade or rub off. This PVD process means that\u00a0the colour of the steel is altered at a molecular level, preventing\u00a0deterioration despite heavy usage.<\/p>\n If you are looking for a solid black stainless steel military watch that is\u00a0both discreet and water resistant up to 50m then this Special Forces\u00a0model is ideal. The G10 Stealth is very rugged and is designed to survive\u00a0the most extreme of conditions. It is supplied with a current issue black NATO webbing strap.\u00a0The back of the case bears the original contract markings and a unique serial number.<\/p>\n The G10 LM MilitaryWatch with 12\/24 Hour Pattern NATO Dial is one of our most tried and tested\u00a0G10 models and in its earlier variants has been in service for nearly 30 years. This MWC in 12\/24 hour\u00a0dial format model retains the battery hatch which has been discarded by most other manufacturers\u00a0and is a very useful feature which saves considerable expense when a replacement battery is required.\u00a0This model has impact resistant glass, using actual glass means that the watch is very resistant to\u00a0minor scratches and also gives the watch a much cleaner and more streamlined appearance than\u00a0perspex \/ acrylic crystals.<\/p>\n The G10 LM Military Watch with 12\/24 Hour Pattern NATO Dial which is available in Olive Green\u00a0and black also uses Super-Luminova for improved night time visibility. Super-Luminova operates like\u00a0a light battery, glowing in the dark after sufficient activation by sunlight or artificial light. This\u00a0activation and subsequent light emission process can be repeated again and again without suffer any\u00a0ageing. The other advantage is that Super-LumiNova pigments are absolutely free of radioactivity.<\/p>\n The G10 LM Military Watch which is available in Black Strap, Desert Strap, and Grey Strap, is the\u00a0latest G10 model and features a full glass window case which is highly scratch resistant, a date window,\u00a0solid stainless steel case, screw caseback and screw strap pins.
