Singtel rolls out Cast OTT (Over The Top) video portal app with premium content. With more and more people watching content from mobile app, it is a smart move from Singtel to diversify their content business.\u00a0At launch, Cast will offer four content packs \u2013 Viu Premium, Kids, Asian Hits and Hallyu. If you have been watching content from VIU, you should have gotten the information that they have gone premium from July. If you compare the pricing between VIU (direct) and Cast (Singtel), the monthly difference is around S$1 (cheaper from Singtel) but you will need to be contracted for one year.<\/p>\n

And if you observe the content from VIU and Hallyu on Cast, they\u00a0overlap each other. Do choose wisely when you want to subscribe.<\/p>\n

Singapore\u2019s first OTT video portal app will offer Viu Premium, Kids,\u00a0Asian and Hallyu content packs<\/em><\/p>\n

Singapore, 7 July, 2016 \u2013 Singtel today announced a brand new way for consumers to enjoy their favourite entertainment on-the-go with the launch of Cast, Singapore\u2019s first OTT video portal app. Cast will offer thousands of hours of exciting movies, dramas, variety shows and kids\u2019 edutainment from partners such as top content providers Viu and Nickelodeon, delivered on Singtel\u2019s extensive 4G network.<\/p>\n

Singtel Mobile postpaid customers can choose from four content packs of different genres at launch. Each pack is priced at S$4.90\/month and customers can opt for a special 1GB data add-on for just S$3 more per month.<\/p>\n
