<\/p>\nAdobe today announces the availability of Lightroom on Android 2.0. It has some new features which I think\u00a0is super useful. It now has in-app camera that can capture images in DNG raw format. And with its Dehaze tool, you can remove or fog an image easily.<\/p>\n

Adobe\u00a0today announces the availability of\u00a0Lightroom on Android 2.0<\/strong>. Lightroom allows people who care about their photography to capture, organize, edit, and share directly from their smartphone or tablet, enabling them to utilize all of the power of\u00a0Adobe\u2019s Lightroom tools \u2013right on their mobile device. Additionally, Lightroom on Android 2.0 delivers\u00a0THE FIRST<\/strong>\u00a0end-to-end raw mobile photography solution.<\/p>\n
New key features include:<\/p>\n

- An in-app camera, supporting the capture of images in DNG raw format<\/li>\n
- Shoot-through presets, also available\u00a0within the in-app camera, enabling previewing and capturing images with a series of built-in presets providing non-destructive editing<\/li>\n
- Dehaze tool to adjust\u00a0haze and fog in an image<\/li>\n
- Split Toning enhancement, enabling the addition of a color cast to the highlights and shadows of an image, creating a uniquely stylized color image or replicating the look and feel of a traditional toned black and white image<\/li>\n
- Target Adjustment Tool functionality in the Color\/B&W editing tool, providing direct, on-image editing controls<\/li>\n
- Point mode in Curve tool providing complete control over the tonality and contrast of an image<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n
I tried the app camera\u00a0just now.\u00a0I find that it did not focus so fast and also at times, did not focus accurately in RAW mode. However, in JPEG, it seems ok. Did not try intensively though.\u00a0Do spend some time to read the blog post<\/a> of world-renowned travel photographer, Colby Brown<\/a>, who worked with Adobe to test out the latest version of Lightroom on Android on his Nexus 6P.<\/p>\n
