From 1st Dec to 14th Dec, visitors can try out the Auto Riders (which look like a moving toaster) at Gardens By the Bay (GBTB). I like the concept of &#8220;follow the leader&#8221; or what they call &#8220;autonomous truck platooning system&#8221;. One driver will\u00a0drive\u00a0a cargo truck with other cargo trucks\u00a0(driverless) following it. This will definitely help in reducing manpower.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">There is also another project in the pipeline that allows visitors to Sentosa to call for a driverless shuttle via smartphone or at specific kiosks across the island. I think Singapore is ready for such technology.
