Launch of\u00a050N\u00a050<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 a community collaboration project showcasing Singapore\u2019s creative talents across multiple platforms<\/h2>\n

(6 May 2015, Singapore) \u2013\u00a050N\u00a050<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>is a creative crowdsourcing project launched to commemorate Singapore\u2019s\u00a050th<\/sup>\u00a0year of independence. A first of its kind, the multi-platform project aims to\u00a0invoke and strengthen the identity of Singaporeans\u00a0by\u00a0tracing Singapore\u2019s evolution from a post-war colony\u00a050\u00a0years ago to a thriving first-world nation today.\u00a050N\u00a050<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>will feature creative works\u00a0revolving around 10 different themes, ranging from HDB to transport to education to economy to people and more.<\/p>\n

Creative talents in Singapore are invited to send in their works\u00a0at (http:\/\/50on50.com.sg<\/a>).\u00a0The creative submissions can be in the form of music, videos, dance, animation, illustration, photos, and poetry, among others.\u00a050\u00a0selected works will be curated and\u00a0unveiled as a series of 10 webisodes on HISTORY and\u00a050N\u00a050<\/em><\/strong>\u2019s<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>platforms over a period of 10 weeks, starting from\u00a08 August 2015<\/span>.<\/p>\n

A joint initiative by CreativesAtWork, JellyFarm Studios and HISTORY (StarHub TV Ch 401),\u00a0<\/em>supported by\u00a0SG50\u00a0Celebration Fund,\u00a050N\u00a050<\/em><\/strong>provides a valuable opportunity for the local creative talents to demonstrate their works and bring the international spotlight to the great places, people, and food in Singapore.<\/p>\n
