Qoo10 Launches Valerie Wang X QStyle Campaign<\/h2>\n

5 March 2015, Singapore \u2013<\/strong> Qoo10 recently collaborated with local fashion blogger Valerie Wang on an editorial campaign to be featured on QStyle, the e-commerce platform\u2019s fashion-centric e-Zine.<\/p>\n

The two-part series features ten outfits from Taiwanese apparel labels MAYUKI and KODZ from the Taiwanese online fashion retail conglomerate Toki Choi and will be published on www.qoo10.sg\/vw<\/a> on 6 and 13 March 2015. The dedicated landing page will also feature a Q&A segment with Valerie and \u2018Shop the Look\u2019 section.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople may not think of Qoo10 as a fashion destination but it\u2019s actually the largest fast fashion online marketplace in Singapore with more than 2,000 e-stores and blogshops. It was great collaborating with Valerie because she is such a talented stylist and model, with a large Instagram fan base. 10 Questions With\u2026.. Valerie Wang<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pixie-framed blogger Valerie Wang is well-known for her perfectly curated OOTDs on Instagram but there\u2019s more to her than meets the eye.
\nHer artistic credentials include a Diploma in Design & Media from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and a Fine Arts degree from LASALLE College of the Arts.<\/p>\n

The multi-hyphenate has also worked with major brands like Marc by Marc Jacobs, Silky Girl and Yves Rocher.
\nQoo10 caught up with her over coffee to find out what makes her tick.<\/p>\n

1. How long have you been blogging? Why did you decide to start the blog?<\/strong>
\nI started this blog since my Secondary School days purely for leisure and keepsake of memories. It is only in recent years that I started receiving sponsorships and is blessed enough to be able to work with brands from different genres. The decision to blog on a regular basis is part leisure, part business.<\/p>\n

2. Any tips for the perfect OOTD? What are your makeup essentials and regimen?<\/strong>
\nThere are no perfect OOTD tips. In my opinion, different individuals have their own unique personality and style, there should’t be a standard formula to pursue. My make up essentials varies on the occasion and my mood. But one thing I will never ever leave my house without is my sunblock and brows drawn.<\/p>\n

3. Your pictures have a Korean-inspired feel. What do you like about Korean fashion \/ culture?<\/strong>
\nKorean Fashion does not emphasise on branded goods. Fashion to me is about comfort and you do not have to wear branded goods to be fashionable.<\/p>\n

4. Where do you usually shop? What are your favourite fashion and beauty brands?<\/strong>
\nI shop Topshop and ASOS most often. I do not have a standard beauty brand to go for because I like to try out different brands.<\/p>\n

5. Describe your usual get-up.<\/strong>
\nTee shirt, jeans and flipflops!<\/p>\n

6. How would you describe your pictures? Where do you find inspiration for them?<\/strong>
\nMy pictures are events and stuff that are related to my life. I find inspiration everywhere, online and offline.<\/p>\n

7. Pants or skirts. Which would you choose and how would you pair it?<\/strong>
\nPants FTW! Tee shirt of course!<\/p>\n

8. Any future plans, such as designing your own label?<\/strong>
\nI\u2019m currently in the process of launching my handcrafted bag brand @storeunda – it should be meeting the crowd sometime in April 2015.<\/p>\n

9. From your Instagram page, we can see you\u2019re an avid traveller. Which are your favourite cities to visit?<\/strong>
\nWho does not love travelling? I crave to explore any city and island but I particularly love beaches.<\/p>\n

10. What\u2019s your New Year Resolution for 2015?<\/strong>
\nTo provide greater and richer content on my social media platforms and perhaps touch a little more on travelling and arts. To grow my bag brand and hopefully have more opportunities for exhibiting my art works.<\/p>\n
